I’m 37 years old and have been fishing since the age of 5 when my father used to take me to Deal pier sea fishing, catching little pouting and whiting from around the pier legs, that’s where I got addicted to fishing. As I have grown up I got into general coarse fishing, then I found I needed more of a challenge so used to target the bigger fish of the species like perch over 3lb, big bream and so on. Around the age of 15 I got the Carp bug and started fishing more and more for the Carp. I caught a few cats along the way but more by accident than anything else.
