I am 38 years old and have fished since I was 7. I was bought a cheap float outfit as a kid after pestering my parents for it. I was hooked from the first time I went. I learnt what I needed to by being helped out by a family friend. Progressing from the local river Stour my friend and I ventured to a new day ticket fishery that contained carp to mid 20lb, we soon became addicted to the carp fishing side of angling and the natural progression to club waters containing bigger fish happened after a few years of learning by trial and error on our beloved day ticket water. I now fish Tonford and Swan syndicate on the mid Kent fisheries.
UK pb 37 lb 4oz mirror and 34 lb 2oz common.
I have a family, 2 boys aged 13 and 8 and a fantastic and supportive wife. I run my own small painting and decorating business business.
Mainly I fish overniters due to family and work commitments but I do put a lot of effort into the waters I fish when I’m not fishing. Pre baiting and watching the water at times I can’t fish is time well spent. Effort 100% equals reward.
