My name is Benoit Bruneau but I prefer just “Ben”. I was born in 1971 and I live in the Liégeoise region (Belgique/Europe). I’ve been fishing since I was 10 and I love all types of fishing and different techniques.
I am a qualified teacher and for the last six years I have been head teacher in two junior schools with 280 children aged from 2.5 to 12.
I am active in the Belgian fishing association and one of the founding members of the Union Carpiste Wallonne (UCW). Created in 1997, the UCW promotes carp fishing in the Wallon region in Belgium. It fights against the transfer and stealing of fish and has also fought hard to obtain night fishing across the whole region. I collaborate in several specialist carp fishing magazines like Top Carpe and Media Carpe as well as being an active member of the Belgian Big Carp tem.
I look forward to meeting you either fishing or at a carp show.
